Foster Leads Men's Golf at Camp Lejeune Championship

Camp Lejeune, N.C. (April 3, 2023) – Senior Quin Foster shot a 229 (+13) to lead the Pfeiffer University men's golf team at the 50^th Camp Lejeune Championships at the par 72, 6,851-yard Paradise Point Gold Course.

Graduate student Austin Morton (Jacksonville, Fla.) finished just two strokes behind Foster with a 231 (+15) on the three-day event to claim a tie for 44th in the field of 100 participants.

As a team, Pfeiffer finished in 17th place overall with a 951 (+87).

Guilford and Oglethrope tied for first, each shooting 871 (+7) with Guilford winning a two-hole aggregate playoff to claim the top spot.

Individually, Alex Price from Christopher Newport claimed medalist honors by shooting a three-day total of 208 (-8).

Pfeiffer will conclude their regular season at the Glenn Heath Memorial hosted by The Apprentice School at the Williamsburg Country Club in Williamsburg, Va. on April 17-18.
