Misenheimer, N.C. (Oct. 12, 2024) -- The Pfeiffer University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 at home decision to Meredith College on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.
The loss dropped Pfeiffer's record to 3-7 overall and 1-4-0 in USA South play while Meredith improves to 6-5-3 overall and 3-2-1 in league matches.
How it Happened
Meredith opened the scoring in the 16th minute on an unassisted goal from Kate Conoley. The Angels went up 2-0 in the 30th minute on a Rebecca Morrison goal.
Meredith capped the scoring on Conoley's second goal of the afternoon in the 51st minute on an assist from Meredith Warrick
Goalkeeper Kaylee Ollis led Pfeiffer with four saves. The Falcons registered six shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Pfeiffer faced 12 Meredith shots, seven of them on goal.

Pfeiffer will return to Lefko-Mills Field on Wednesday, Oct. 16 for a USA South match against Methodist University. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.
