Pfeiffer Men's Cross Country Finishes Third at Roanoke
Salem, Va. (Oct. 21, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University men's cross country team came away with a third-place finish at the Roanoke Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19.
The Falcons had a stellar meet, as nearly all runners set new collegiate bests over the 8K course at Green Hill Park.

Sawyer Helms continued to have a great season, as he set a new Pfeiffer 8K record by clocking a time of 24:56.7. The time was good for 11
th place overall in the field of 165 participants.
Cannon Powell finished with a personal-best time of 25:20.1 to finish in 17
th place while
Camden Misenheimer ran a 26:03.7 to finish in 28
th.
The Falcons will set their sights on capturing the USA South Championship, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 10:00 a.m. on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount, N.C.
