Misenheimer, N.C.. (Oct. 4, 2024) -- The Pfeiffer men's soccer team kept Shaw off the scoreboard and secured a 2-0 shutout victory on Friday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.
The win boosted Pfeiffer's record to 3-4-2 overall while Shaw dropped to 2-7
How it Happened
Pfeiffer took the 1-0 lead when Benjamin Landaverde recorded his second goal of the season in the 22nd minute. Landeverde's strike came merely seconds after he entered the match.
The Falcons added another score on a goal from Diego Medel -- his third goal of the season -- in the 85th minute, assisted by freshman Wesley Hooker.

- Goalkeeper Nick Cutlip piled up three saves for the Falcons out of four total Bears shots.
