HOW IT HAPPENED
The visiting Tigers opened the game with four straight goals before Pfeiffer's Tyler Finley and Trent Orr scored back-to-back goals to cut the H-SC lead to 4-2.  Hampden-Sydney added another goal to lead 5-2 after the first quarter.

Pfeiffer responded with two straight scores to open the second quarter, trimming the deficit to 5-4.  Two more goals from the opposition pushed the H-SC lead back to 7-4.  Pfeiffer's Khyler Johnson scored the final goal of the first half to provide the 7-5 score at the break.

In the second half, Hampden-Sydney took control by scoring the first four goals to open the third quarter, extending their lead to 11-5.  An Evan Porter goal drew Pfeiffer to 11-6, that would be the closest Pfeiffer would get the rest of the way, with Hampden-Sydney taking the 15-7 win.
