Salem, Va. (Feb. 24, 2024) – The Roanoke College Maroons took a 23-6 win over the Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team in Salem, Va. on Saturday afternoon

HOW IT HAPPENED
Roanoke outscored Pfeiffer 8-1 in the first quarter and led 14-2 at halftime and were never threatened in the 23-6 win.

Pfeiffer scored four goals in the third quarter to provide the 19-6 margin, but were held scoreless in the fourth quarter as the Maroons added four more to provide the 23-6 final.

Inside the Box Score
Pfeiffer's Kyhler Johnson and Trent Orr scored two goals each in the loss while Zach DeFazio and Ethan Miles added a goal each.  Elias Solano had a team-best three ground balls and was 8-of-20 on faceoffs.

Defensively, freshman Oliver Buch made 19 saves for the Falcons in goal.
