Men's Lacrosse Dominant in USA South Opening Road Win

LaGrange, Ga. (March 16, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team was dominant in their 27-8 win at LaGrange College in the USA South opener for both teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer jumped on the host Panthers early, outscoring the opposition 10-2 in the first quarter on their way to holding a commanding 17-5 lead at halftime.  Pfeiffer held LaGrange scoreless in the third quarter to lead 23-5 and then tacked on four more goals in the fourth to take the 27-8 win.

Inside the Box Score
Pfeiffer had 13 different players score goals, with Zach DeFazio scoring six goals and Zach Gignac scoring five while adding one assist.  Freshman Khyler Johnson had three goals and one assist while teammate Tyler Finley also netting a hat trick.  Jared Butler had a pair of goals.

Quinne Becraft, Malcom Meadows, Colin Finley, Dylan Bryson, Tobias Balester, Colin Thornton and Michadian Bryant all had one goal in the win.

Pfeiffer freshman goalkeeper Oliver Buch earned the win in net, coming up with seven saves in the win.
