MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Oct. 18, 2025))
— Southern Virginia University extended its unbeaten conference streak with a commanding 7–0 victory over Pfeiffer University on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.

The Knights (8-5-1, 7-0-0 USA South) overwhelmed the Falcons (1-10-1, 1-5-1 USA South) from the opening whistle, scoring four goals in the first half and adding three more in the second. Midfielder Delin Peterson led the charge with a hat trick, netting goals in the 32nd, 42nd, and 47th minutes, and assisting on two others.

Southern Virginia opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Xoie Warner found the back of the net off a feed from Peterson. Just four minutes later, Hailey Gadd converted a penalty kick to make it 2–0.

Peterson added her first goal in the 32nd minute, assisted by Lucy Skidmore, and struck again in the 42nd minute to close out the half.

Peterson completed her hat trick early in the second half, scoring in the 47th minute with help from Courtney Montes. McKenna Currey and Desana Grabarczyk added goals in the 63rd and 82nd minutes, respectively, sealing the rout.

Pfeiffer struggled to generate offense, managing only three shots — two on goal — throughout the match. Goalkeeper Kaylee Ollis made 11 saves despite conceding seven goals.

Southern Virginia dominated possession and offensive opportunities, outshooting Pfeiffer 26–3 and earning nine corner kicks to Pfeiffer's none.

The Falcons will step out of conference play when they host Warren Wilson on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Lefko-Mills Field.
