Pfeiffer Women's Golf Dominates at Battle of Route 64
FOUR OAKS, N.C. (Oct. 2, 2025) — Pfeiffer University claimed a commanding team victory at the Battle of Route 64 on Thursday, finishing with a team score of 353, 48 strokes ahead of runner-up Meredith College at Reedy Creek Country Club.
The Falcons were led by
Kirstyn Page, who earned medalist honors with a 9-over-par 81 on the 5,725-yard, par-72 layout. Teammates
Ella Couper (88),
Jordan Blake (91), and
Morgan Heilig (93) all placed in the top 10, helping Pfeiffer secure the top spot in the three-team field.
Meredith's Laura Lea Allen finished second individually with an 82, followed by teammate Jenna Underwood in third at 87. William Peace University did not finish the team competition but had two players in the top 10.
Pfeiffer's depth proved decisive, with all five of its golfers finishing among the top eight.
The Falcons will conclude fall play at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational hosted by Berry College on Oct. 27-28 in Rome, Georga.
