Box Score Pfeiffer and Carolina U Settle for 2-2 Tie

Wesley Hooker each scored second-half goals as Pfeiffer University battled back to earn a 2–2 draw against Carolina U on Saturday night at the Truist Sports Park in Bermuda Run, N.C.
After trailing 1–0 at halftime, Pfeiffer (8-0-2) found the equalizer in the 75th minute when Owens netted his second goal of the season on an unassisted strike. Just over a minute later, the Bruins (4-2-1) regained the lead on a penalty kick converted by Will McCamley, his second goal of the season.
Pfeiffer continued to press late in the second half when Hooker delivered the final equalizer in the 86th minute, also unassisted, to cap the Falcons' comeback. Hooker's goal marks his eighth of the season.
Goalkeeper
Tommaso Cantini was instrumental in keeping Pfeiffer in the match, recording seven saves on 16 shots faced. Pfeiffer managed nine shots overall, five of which were on target.
The Bruins opened the scoring early in the 7th minute with a goal from Lewis Jacklin. McCamley led all players with four shots on goal.
Pfeiffer returns to action next week looking to extend its unbeaten streak when they return home to Lefko-Mills Field to take on defending USA South Champion William Peace University in a 7:00 p.m. match.
