SANFORD, N.C. (April, 22, 2026) — Pfeiffer University placed fourth at the USA South Men's Golf Championship, finishing three rounds at 928 (+64) at the par-72 Lakes Course at Carolina Trace Golf Club.
The Falcons opened with a 314 on Monday before rebounding with a tournament-best round for the team, shooting 305 in Tuesday's second round. Pfeiffer followed with a 309 on Wednesday to hold off N.C. Wesleyan and secure its fourth-place finish in the six-team field.
Wyatt Reeder led Pfeiffer individually, tying for third overall after rounds of 77-72-73 to finish at 222 (+6). Reeder closed the championship with a steady final round featuring consistent play that kept him among the tournament leaders.
Tyler Kepley also delivered a strong performance for the Falcons, tying for seventh place at 228 (+12). Kepley bounced back from an opening-round 80 with a 72 on Tuesday and capped the week with a 76.
Ryan McQuarrie rounded out Pfeiffer's top three finishers, tying for 16th at 238 (+22). McQuarrie carded rounds of 80, 77 and 81, providing key contributions to the team total.
Aidan Hollar finished 19th at 242 (+26) after rounds of 77-84-81, while
Tatum North placed 24th at 248 (+32), closing strong with a final-round 79.
Methodist University claimed the team championship at 883 (+19), while Greensboro and Southern Virginia finished second and third, respectively.
