MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Oct. 7, 2025) — Pfeiffer University and Salem College battled to a 3-3 draw in USA South women's soccer action Tuesday evening at Lefko-Mills Field.
Pfeiffer (1-7-1, 1-2-1 USA South) opened the scoring in the 21st minute when freshman
Lily Bido netted her second goal of the season. Salem (3-4-4, 0-2-2 USA South) responded quickly, equalizing just over a minute later with a goal from Giselle Ramos, her third of the year.
The teams traded goals late in the first half. Pfeiffer regained the lead in the 41st minute on a strike from senior
Crysty Flores-Perez, assisted by freshman
Quinn Branca, but Salem's Darilyn Nieto answered less than a minute later to knot the score at 2-2 heading into halftime.
Branca gave Pfeiffer a 3-2 advantage in the 79th minute with her second goal of the season, but Salem's Nieto completed her brace in the 88th minute to secure the draw.
Pfeiffer outshot Salem 19-15, with Branca leading the Falcons with seven shots, including three on goal. Senior goalkeeper
Kaylee Ollis made eight saves for Pfeiffer, while Salem's Michaela Iapaluccio recorded six stops.
The Falcons will return to USA South play on Saturday, Oct. 11 with a 5:00 p.m. match at Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C.
