Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse Drops 21-12 Game to No. 13 Lynchburg
Lynchburg, Va. (Feb 22, 2025) – The visiting Pfeiffer University men's lacrosse team dropped a 21-12 decision to No. 13 Lynchburg on Saturday afternoon at Shellenberger Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Leading 12-8, Lynchburg used a big third quarter to bolt ahead of the visiting Falcons, outscoring Pfeiffer 6-0 in the quarter.
The Hornets also scored the first goal of the fourth quarter to take the 19-9 lead before the Falcons scored three straight goals to pull to 19-11. That would be the closest Pfeiffer would get, as Lynchburg added two more to provide the 21-12 final.

Dylan Sullivan and
Zach Gignac scored three goals each for Pfeiffer, with Gignac adding a pair of assists to tally five points on the afternoon.Â
Trent Orr added two scores for the Falcons and had two ground balls.
Brandon Luft led Pfeiffer with six ground balls on the game, with
Jakobi Leonard contributing with four ground balls. Luft also led the Falcons with a pair of caused turnovers.
