Falcon Women's Tennis Rolls Past Salem, 7-0
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 29, 2025)– The Pfeiffer University women's tennis team had no trouble with visiting Salem College as they rolled to a 7-0 USA South sweep on Saturday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
The Falcons took the doubles point by sweeping all three matches, winning 6-3 at the No. 1 and No. 3 matches and 6-2 at the No. 2 match.
In singles play, Pfeiffer again took all six matches.Â
Haley Ingenito and
Sonya Rhoades won their matches at No. 3 and No. 6, respectively by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Sydney Cohen won at No. 2 over Mariana Faint, 6-2, 6-0, while
Fanny Apostolou win at No. 4 by a 6-1, 6-2 score.
Riley Isley won her No. 5 match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0 and
Megan Rekieta closed the afternoon with a win at No. 1 singles over Adley Keim by a 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4) score.
The Next Match
The Falcons will continue USA South play on Tuesday, April 1 with a 3:00 p.m. road match at Brevard College.
