Falcon Women's Tennis Blows Away Brevard, 7-0

Brevard, N.C. (April 1, 2025)– The Pfeiffer University women's tennis team swept Brevard 7-0 in a USA South match on Tuesday afternoon at the McCoy Tennis Complex in Brevard, N.C.

THE BASICS
The Falcons took the doubles point by sweeping all three matches, winning 6-2 at the No. 1 match, 6-4 at No. 2 and 6-1 at the No. 3 match.

Pfeiffer won five of the six singles matches in straight sets while Sydney Cohen outlasted her Brevard opponent in the longest match of the day, winning 6-2, 6-7 (12-10), 1-0 (10-8).

The Falcons will continue USA South play at home on Wednesday, April 2 with a 2:00 p.m. tilt with N.C. Wesleyan.
