Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Cruises in 7-0 Win at Mary Baldwin

Staunton, Va. (April 13, 2025)– Visiting Pfeiffer University had no trouble in cruising to a 7-0 USA South men's tennis road win at Mary Baldwin University on Sunday morning.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer opened play with three wins in the doubles competition, all by identical 6-0 scores.

Pfeiffer also took care of business in singles play, winning all matches in straight sets.  Four of the six matches ended in 6-0, 6-0 finals while the No. 2 match saw Mathius Dessureau win 6-1, 6-2.  Bogdan Stan took care of his No. 4 match by a 6-1, 6-0 final.

Benedikt Pfeiffer (No. 1), Aissultan Mukhambetov (No. 3), Andes Valdez-Arze (No. 5) and Justin Giesbrecht (No, 6) all had the 6-0, 6-0 sweeps.

The Next Match
The Falcons will return to play on Tuesday, April 15 with a 1:00 p.m. USA South clash with Southern Virginia at the Knapp Tennis Center in Misenheimer.
