Pfeiffer Men's Soccer Rolls Past Carolina Christian in Homecoming Rout
MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Sept. 20, 2025) — Pfeiffer University celebrated Homecoming in style on a hot Saturday afternoon, dismantling visiting Carolina Christian College 7-0 in a men's soccer match at Lefko-Mills Field to remain unbeaten on the season.
Junior defender
Alex Michael led the Falcons (6-0) with a first-half hat trick, including a penalty kick in the 44th minute. Michael opened the scoring just 86 seconds into the match and added goals in the 30th and 44th minutes.
Caleb Yopp assisted on two of Michael's goals.
Pfeiffer dominated possession and outshot Carolina Christian (0-7) by a staggering 47-2 margin, including 23 shots on goal. The Falcons scored five times in the first half and added two more after the break.
Wesley Hooker,
Jaiden Wright,
Nico Cantini, and
Alec Paraiso each added goals for Pfeiffer, while
Jonathan Hansen,
Adrian Carmona,
Alejandro Bastidas, and
Anakin Leister contributed assists.
Goalkeepers
Seth Limbert and
Diego Serrano split time in net, combining for the team's second consecutive shutout without facing a shot on goal.
The Falcons will hit the road for their next match when they travel to Petersburg, Va. to take on Division II Virginia State University at Rogers Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
