Pfeiffer Women's Golf Debuts 2025-26 Season at Chinatown-Shenandoah Invitational
Berkeley Springs, WV. - (Sept. 7, 2025) – The Pfeiffer University women's golf team opened the 2025-26 season with a 10
th-place finish at the Chinatown-Shenandoah Invitational on Sept. 6-7 at the par 72, 5,647-yard Cacapon Resort in Berkeley Springs, WV.
The Falcons claimed the 10
th-place finish in the 13-team field by carding a +59 (347) on day one and improved on day two, shooting a +50 (338), finishing with a +109 (685) in the two-day event.Â
Marymount University took the team title with a 604 (+28) with Virginia Wesleyan finishing as the runner-up with a 646 (+70)
Individually, Pfeiffer junior
Kirstyn Page claimed a tie for ninth place overall, shooting a 155 (+11). The ninth-place finish marks the eighth time in Pages' Falcon career that she has finished in the top-10.
Sophomore
Morgan Heilig claimed a tie for 31
st with a +26 (170) while junior
Ella Couper finished in 49
th place after posting a +35 (179).
Freshman
Saylor Billings, playing in her first collegiate event, managed a 197 (+53) to finish 66
th.
The Falcons will return to play on Sept. 22-23 when they travel to Harrisonburg, Va. to participate in the Bridgewater Invitational at the Lakeview Golf Club.
