Jordan Jones Finishes Fifth at NCAA Indoor Championship; Earns All American Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 14, 2026) — Pfeiffer sprinter Jordan Jones capped an impressive indoor season with a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter dash at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex by posting a time of 6.752.

Competing against one of the deepest fields in Division III, Jones advanced through the preliminary rounds and delivered a strong showing in the final, earning First Team All-American honors in putting together a top national-level performance

Lamont Victoria of Lynchburg won the NCAA title in the event with a 6.702, just 1/1000th of a second quicker than Dylan Doss of Wisconsin-Osh Kosh, who finished with a 6.703

Jones, who has steadily climbed the national rankings throughout the season, carried his momentum into championship weekend. His top-five national finish marks one of the strongest sprint performances in program and in USA South history.

Jones will now shift his focus to the upcoming outdoor season, where he is expected to contend again in both USA South and national competition.
