MISENHEIMER, N.C. (March 21, 2026) — Pfeiffer dropped its first home match of the season Saturday, falling 6–1 to Oberlin at the Knapp Tennis Center in nonconference women's tennis action.
Oberlin (5-3) took control early by winning two of the three doubles courts to secure the opening point. Pfeiffer's lone doubles victory came at No. 1, where
Fanny Apostolou and
Haley Ingenito claimed a 6-1 win.
In singles play, the Falcons (10-1) were unable to slow the Yeowomen, who captured five of six completed courts. Pfeiffer's only singles point came from Ingenito, who earned a straight-sets win at No. 2, 6-4, 6-1.
Oberlin's Stella Kollmansberger opened the lineup with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1, while Rachel Allen, Eva Lopez, Freya Rahm and Olivia Guzman rounded out the Yeowomen's singles victories.
Pfeiffer returns to the courts on Sunday, March 22 with a 10:00 a.m. nonconference match against Piedmont at the Knapp Tennis Center.
