OCEAN ISLE BEACH, N.C. (March 4, 2026) — Pfeiffer University's women's golf team placed eighth at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational, closing with a strong second-round improvement to finish with a two-day total of 711 (+135) against an 11-team field at tjhe Ocean Ridge Plantation in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C.
East Florida State won the event at Lion's Paw and Panther's Run with a combined 603 (+27), while Virginia Wesleyan took second at 631 (+55).
Pfeiffer was paced by
Kirstyn Page, who carded rounds of 83-82 to post a 165 (+21), finishing in a tie for 17th overall.
Ella Couper followed with a steady 86–87 performance for a 173 (+29), placing her in a tie for 27th.
Morgan Heilig added a 93–91 showing to tie for 42nd at 184 (+40), while
Jordan Blake delivered a significant second-round rally—improving by 17 strokes—to shoot 103–86 and finish 47th at 189 (+45).
East Florida State's Ann Burel claimed individual medalist honors with a 1-over 145, edging Virginia Wesleyan's Juliette Coffey by two shots.
