CARY, N.C. (April 11, 2026) — Pfeiffer University claimed their fourth-consecutive USA South Regular Season title with a convincing 30-4 blowout of William Peace University at WakeMed Park in Cary, N.C. on Saturday afternoon.
Pfeiffer (13-2, 8-0 USA South) blew the game open early, scoring 11 goals in the first quarter while holding William Peace scoreless. The Falcons won the opening faceoff and never trailed, building a 6-0 lead in the first 10 minutes before closing the quarter on a five-goal burst.
Tiger Hopkins finished with five goals and an assist, while
Dylan Sullivan chipped in three goals and four assists for Pfeiffer, which outshot William Peace 69-16 and won 28 of 37 faceoffs. The Falcons also held a 48-20 advantage in ground balls.
Miles scored twice in the opening quarter and added a shorthanded goal in the third, highlighting Pfeiffer's efficiency on special teams. The Falcons went 4-for-7 on man-up opportunities and also scored once while down a man.
William Peace (8-7, 1-5) got on the board early in the second quarter when Caleb Garey scored a man-up goal, but Pfeiffer answered with five of the final six goals before halftime to take a 16-2 lead into the break.
Bashwyn Fitch added three goals for Pfeiffer, and
Trent Orr chipped in two goals and two assists.
Will Rivera scored three times and assisted on three more goals as Pfeiffer saw 14 different players record at least one point.
William Peace was led by Brandon Goad, who scored twice, and Aidan McNeely, who added a goal in the final seconds. Goalkeeper Carson McGee made 16 saves but faced constant pressure as
Pfeiffer used six different goalkeepers, allowing just four goals combined while limiting William Peace to 10 shots on goal.
The Falcons continued to pull away in the second half, scoring seven goals in both the third and fourth quarters to cruise to the conference road win.
The win improves Pfeiffer to 13-2 overall and 8-0 in USA South play, extending their USA South regular season win streak to 26 straight games.
Pfeiffer will close the regular season with a 4:00 p.m. game against Brevard College on Tuesday, April 14 at Lefko-Mills Field.
