MISENHEIMER, N.C. (April 18, 2026) — Pfeiffer honored its seniors in emphatic fashion, rolling to a 24-5 victory over N.C. Wesleyan in USA South Conference women's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon at a sunny and hot Lefko-Mills Field.
The Falcons (11-5, 5-4 USA South) jumped out early and never looked back, scoring eight goals in the opening quarter and building a commanding 14-3 halftime lead on their way to the blowout win in front of a large crowd on Senior Day.
Senior
Skyla Jo Charette led the offensive onslaught with four goals and 12 assists, setting up half of Pfeiffer's scoring.
Analise Robinson added six goals and an assist, while
Quinn Branca and Victoria
Howard each scored four times.
Cerys Reid contributed a goal and an assist, and eight different Falcons found the back of the net.
In the first quarter, Charette broke the single-season mark for assists, eclipsing the record of 50, held by Melissa Anderson (2006) and Whitney Jaffe (2016). To date, Charette has 60 assists this season.
Pfeiffer controlled play throughout, outshooting the Battling Bishops 50-6 and winning the draw control battle 19-8. The Falcons forced 29 turnovers and registered 22 caused turnovers, repeatedly creating short-field opportunities.
After N.C. Wesleyan cut the deficit to 3-2 midway through the first quarter, Pfeiffer answered with a decisive six-goal run to seize control. The Falcons continued to pile on with six second-quarter goals and five more in each of the final two periods.
Freshman goalkeeper
Clara Smith earned the win, allowing five goals while making one save. N.C. Wesleyan goalkeeper Elizabeth Daniels finished with 18 saves under relentless pressure.
Maxima Iglesias accounted for four of the five goals for N.C. Wesleyan (2-10, 1-8 USA South), with Kelsi Oyer adding the remaining tally.
Pfeiffer will take the No. 5 seed into the upcoming USA South Tournament and will travel to take on fourth-seeded Southern Virginia on Saturday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m.
