Prior to Pfeiffer
Played his prep soccer at Oxford High School.

Was an all-state first team selection and was also named to the Michigan Dream Team (top 11 players in the state).

Academically, he earned Gold Honors.

Personal
Son of Kim and Armando Medel.  Has two siblings (Taylor and Logan). His sister Logan played softball at Rochester Christian College.
