Biography

2023-24: Rivers enters his fourth year with the Falcons Track and Field program.

Prior to Pfeiffer - Competed in track & field and cross country at South Rowan High School in China Grove, N.C. Earned the Most Improved Cross Country runner award as a sophomore. Qualified for NCHSAA Regional competition as a sophomore. Was a member of the conference and county championship teams as a senior and also qualified for the NCHSAA Regional and State meet. In track, he excelled as a distance runner, clocking a career-best 2:13.64 in the 800m and a 2:55.40 in the 1000m. He also holds a career-best 5:03.00 in the 1600m. In addition he as on  the 4x800m relay team that qualified for the NCHSAA State Championship meet as a senior.
