Pfeiffer University

York enters her second season withn the Falcon softball program in 2021.

2020 (Junior) - Played in 15 games for the Falcons, notching two doubles and a triple and driving in eight.  She also scored seven runs.  Following the season, she was named to the USA South All-Academic Team.
The season was canceled in mid-March due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Before Pfeiffer - Played at Salem College, in Winston Salem, N.C., as a freshman and sophomore in the outfield.
During her freshman season, she played 33 games and had a .304 batting average. During her sophomore season, she compiled a .354 batting average in 31 games.

Personal -  Daughter of Byron and Valerie York. Has two sisters, Payton and Macie, who also played softball through the high school level.

A graduate of North Iredell High School, York earned various accolades in softball and in the classroom. She was named All-Conference (2015, 2016, 2017), All-County (2016), MVP (2016 & 2017), Honorable Mention (2017), and All-District (2016 & 2017).

York was also a member of the Carolina Cobras showcase travel team, who won the ASA 18U 2017 State Championship.

Academically, she was a senior class SGA Representative and a NCHSAA Scholar-Athlete during her high school career. York is currently majoring in business management and leadership with a concentration in marketing.
