SALISBURY, N.C. - Pfeiffer University scored wins in all three doubles matches en route to a 7-2 victory at Catawba College in women's tennis action on Tuesday afternoon. The victory evens the Lady Falcons record to 1-1 on the year while Catawba drops to 6-5.

The duo of Catie Thomas and Briana Oliver had the quickest win in doubles notching an 8-2 win over Steffi Cook and Candace Hall. Thomas and Oliver went on to register singles victories as Thomas went 6-0, 6-2 over Maggie McKee in the number two position while Oliver went 6-0, 6-1 over Hannah Kovach in the fifth spot. Alena Krutkina and Cari Hopson also recorded straight-set wins at number one and number three singles respectively.

The Lady Falcons will host their first home match of the 2011 season on Friday afternoon hosting Brevard at 3:00 p.m.
