High Point, NC - Pfeiffer University's Anthony Allende has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Baseball Player of the Week during week five of the 2013 - 2014 baseball season.

Pfeiffer infielder Anthony Allende had a tremendous week for the Falcons who went 4-0, including a 3-0 mark in conference play. Allende recorded three multi-hit efforts and finished the week with a .438 batting average, .471 on base percentage and .812 slugging percentage. Four of his seven hits went for extra bases as he finished with three doubles, a home run and five runs batted in.

Allende and the Falcons are in action today as they host UNC Pembroke at 2:30 p.m.
