BREVARD, N.C. - The Pfeiffer women's tennis team (7-1) dominated an under-manned Brevard team (1-6) by a score of 8-1 on Thursday afternoon. The Tornados, competing with just four players, were no match for the Falcons.

Pfeiffer swept through doubles play with ease. The top pair of Olivia Nelms and Hannah Watson secured an 8-1 victory and Taylor Lindsay and Valeria Mendoza won in second doubles, 8-2. The Tornados were forced to forfeit third singles.

Nelms defeated Katie Daugherty in first singles, winning in straight sets 6-0, 6-2. Brevard took its only win of the day in second singles, coming away with a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9) win. Mendoza and Watson took third and fourth singles respectively as the Tornados forfeit the bottom two slots.

Pfeiffer returns to action on Sunday as they host Limestone at 11 a.m.
