MISENHEIMERâ€" The Pfeiffer women's tennis team scored a perfect win against Conference Carolina opponent Belmont Abbey (3-7, 1-2 CC) Friday, 9-0.
The win snaps the Falcons two-match losing streak, improving the teams record to 8-3, 2-1 CC.
In singles actions, all six players picked up wins in straight sets, with Mylene Petitpas recording her seventh win and second shutout victory, 6-0, 6-0, of the season.
Olivia Nelms, Taylor Lindsay, and Noemi Perez-Principal also scored shutout wins, with Nelms picking up her eighth win. Valeria Mendoza and Hannah Watson won their sets 6-1, 6-1, and 6-2, 6-1, respectively. Mendoza's win was her tenth this season.
Mendoza, Nelms and Petitpas remain unbeaten in CC action at 3-0.
In doubles, Lindsay and Mendoza improve to 10-1, 3-0 CC after an 8-0 win. Petitpas and Principal, playing for the first time together, scored the Falcons second shutout doubles win.
Nelms and Watson won their set 8-1.
The Falcons play again at home Sunday against CC opponent Converse at 1:00 p.m.
