MISENHEIMER, NC-

Green threw his third complete game of the season, striking out seven batters and only gave up two runs in nine innings of work.  With the win Greene improves his record to 4-2 on the year.
The Falcons manufactured the first run of the game in the bottom of the first inning.
Cody McKenzie drew a walk, then stole second base (1) and later scored on an
Anthony Allende double down the right field line. In the third inning Pfeiffer scored on a
Cole McGraw RBI single down the right field line scoring Conner Baldy from third base.ÂÂ
King answered in the top of the fourth inning scoring their first run of the game off a bloop single by Preston Douglas that dropped in shallow center field scoring Tyler Raymond from third base. The Tornado cut into the lead again in the top of the sixth, when Ryan Whitt singled to left center field scoring Jose Sola from second base on a bang-bang play. Pfeiffer's left fielder
Izzy Perez threw a strike home from left center field, however, the ump called him safe, making the score 3-2.
Tanner Mathis (2) started the bottom of the eighth inning with a bang, hitting a solo blast over the left field fence. With two outs and two on McKenzie (3) hit a two-run homerun over to left center field to extend Pfeiffer's lead 7-2.
