MISENHEIMER, N.C.â€" The Pfeiffer women's tennis team won in their final non-conference match Sunday, beating Bluefield State 7-2, improving to 15-4 overall on the season.

The Falcons were a perfect 3-0 in doubles competition. The teams of Taylor Lindsay and Valeria Mendoza and Olivia Nelms and Hannah Watson won their matches 8-0. Lindsay and Mendoza's win extends their winning streak to 15 matches, improving to 17-1. Nelms and Watson are now 15-4 as a team. Noemi Perez Principal and Mylene Petitpas won their match 8-1.

In singles, Pfeiffer went 4-2, with Nelms, Lindsay, Mendoza, and Watson picking up wins in straight sets. Nelms' win was her 16th straight match win. Mendoza scored her 17th win,overall, with Lindsay and Watson each picking up their 13th.

Up next for the Falcons will be a trip to Franklin Springs, Ga. Wednesday afternoon to face Conference Carolina opponent Emmanuel. Match starts a 3:00 p.m.
