MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The No. 11 Limestone women's lacrosse team (13-3, 8-0 CC) used a nine goal second half to defeat the Pfeiffer Falcons (5-11, 5-3 CC) on Friday night. Prior to the game, Pfeiffer honored the contributions of its senior class as part of its Senior Night festivities.

In fact, Andersen and Jaffe are the only two players in school history to have more than 36 assists in a season.

The Saints also led the battle of groundballs, grabbing 23 compared to 12 for Pfeiffer. Limestone also held the advantage in draw controls, winning 18-of-24.
Pfeiffer led on two separate occasions in the first half and played the Saints tough. With the game tied at 4, Limestone closed the half by scoring the final three goals of the period and didn't look back.
With the loss, Pfeiffer is guaranteed the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tournament. The Falcons will host a quarterfinal game on Tuesday with the opponent to be determined. After the quarterfinals, the rest of the conference tournament takes place at Saints Field over the weekend.
