Ferrum, V.A. -- The Pfeiffer women's tennis team took home a 5-4 victory over Ferrum on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Falcons pick up their second victory of the season.

Ally Delaney got Pfeiffer going with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Alexandria Dixon in her singles match. Senior ShaNisha White also picked up a victory 6-1, 6-0 over Autumn Murray-Burns. In the last singles match, Sydney Honeycutt brought home a win over Hailee Green 6-3, 7-6 (7-2).

Doubles play would come down to the wire, with the Panthers winning the first doubles' match 9-7. However, the Falcons would prevail in the final two matches, with Juliana Batah and Ally Delaney defeating Alexandria White and Murray-Burns 8-0. Maddie Hatley and Honeycutt would then defeat Jordan Thompson and Green 8-4 to seal the win for Pfeiffer.

The Falcons take the court next when they face off against Methodist March 14. The match is scheduled for 2:00.
