Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Falls to Randolph, 6-3

Misenheimer, N.C. (Feb. 22, 2020) – Visiting Randolph College won five of six singles matches while Pfeiffer captured two of the three contested doubles matches in a 6-3 WildCat win over the Falcons at the Knapp Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS
Elithe Hudson was the lone Falcon victor in singles competition, as she took her match at No. 6 over Bailey Livingston by a 6-2, 6-0 score.

Pfeiffer's Hailey Dixon had a competitive match at No. 5 singles, but fell to Ranita Opoku-Sarfo by a 6-4, 6-4 score.

In doubles play, the Falcon duo of Dixon and Sydney Gray won their No. 2 match 8-2 while the No. 3 team of Sydney Honeycutt and Emma Gray Beacham also won by an 8-2 score.

The Falcon women's team will begin a four-match road trip on Feb. 29 when they travel to Brevard College for a 1:00 p.m. match
