Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Opens Season With 5-2 Win at Randolph
Lynchburg, Va. (March 6, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team opened the 2021 season with a 5-2 win at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Va. on Saturday afternoon.

THE BASICS
The Falcons claimed three wins in singles play and two wins doubles matches to claim the 5-2 win.
Alec Taylor (Mooresville, N.C.) and Benedikt Pfeiffer (Schliersee, Germany) took the No. 1 match at doubles by an 8-7 score while teammates Philip Conaway (Sharpsburg, Ga.) and Dylan Masters (Mooresville, N.C.) also won their doubles match at No. 2, winning 8-4.
In singles play, Pfeiffer won his match, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3 singles while Conaway triumphed at No. 4, 6-1, 6-2.
Caleb Phillips (Winston-Salem, N.C.) won his first collegiate match at No. 5 singles by 6-1, 6-1 scores

The Falcon's will next return to play when they host Hampden-Sydney on Saturday, March 13. First serves are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the Knapp Tennis Center.
