Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Wins 7-0 at Mary Baldwin

Staunton, Va. (April 17, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team traveled to Staunton, Va. to take a 7-0 USA South win over Mary Baldwin University on Saturday afternoon.

Pfeiffer – 3-4, 1-3 USA South
Mary Baldwin – 0-12, 0-4 USA South

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer swept all seven matches that were contested.

Dylan Masters had no problems at his No. 1 match, winning 6-3, 6-0 while Alex Taylor and Phillip Conway won their matches at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.

In doubles play, Taylor and Benedikt Pfeiffer won the lone contested doubles match at No. 1, winning 8-0.

BACK ON COURT
Pfeiffer will entertain William Peace University on Tuesday afternoon, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Knapp Tennis Center.
