Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Wins 5-4 Over William Peace

Misenheimer, N.C. (April 20, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team closed out the home portion of the 2021 season with a thrilling 5-4 win over William Peace University on Tuesday afternoon.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer took two of the three doubles matches and then won three singles matches to earn the 5-4 win.

Benedikt Pfeiffer scored a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles over Benjamin Fleming, followed by a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 by Alec Taylor.  Phillip Conaway took his match at No. 4 singles by a 6-3, 6-3 score.

In doubles, Taylor and Pfeiffer claimed the No. 1 match by an 8-5 scored while Dylan Masters and Conaway won their match at No. 2 by an 8-1 score.

BACK ON COURT
Pfeiffer will close the season on Saturday, April 24 with a nonconference road match at Brevard College.
