William Peace Takes 3-1 Volleyball Win Over Pfeiffer

Raleigh, N.C. (Oct. 18, 2022) – William Peace University won the first two sets en route to winning a USA South volleyball match over Pfeiffer University by a 3-1 score on Tuesday night at the Hermann Athletic Center in Raleigh, N.C.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Pfeiffer senior hitter Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) continued to lead the Falcons, as she managed a team-high 11 kills and 13 digs in the four-set match.  Fellow senior Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) had 21 assists and two aces on the night.  Another Falcon senior, Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) made three blocks on the night, as did freshman Madison Tate (Lexington, N.C.)

For WPU, Kelsey Bierbauer had 14 kills while Shelby Cooper and Hannah Collier each had 12.  The Pacers also had seven aces on the night, with Vivian Camplin registering three.

With their road schedule complete, Pfeiffer will return home for the first of six straight home matches on Thursday, Oct. 20, taking on nonconference opponent Bob Jones.
