How it Happened – Game 1
Meredith jumped on the Falcons early, plating two runs in the first inning, one on an RBI single from Madison Hamilton and the latter on a Alyssa Drake sacrifice fly.

Pfeiffer responded to tie the game at 2-2 in the third inning on a two-RBI double from freshman Gracie Griffin.

Meredith scored three more runs in the fourth inning to go ahead 5-2.  Pfeiffer's Hannah Tyner drove in a run in the sixth inning to bring the Falcons to 5-3.

The Angels struck again in the seventh inning to push the lead to 6-3.  The Falcons would mount a comeback attempt in the bottom of the seventh, with Mattie Hinson hitting a solo home run to provide the eventual 6-4 final.

Game 2
Meredith jumped out to a commanding 10-1 lead after the third inning, but Pfeiffer started their comeback effort in the bottom of the third when Alexis Walter hit her first home run of the season, a grand slam, to draw the Falcons to 10-5.

The Angel lead would shrink to 10-6 in the fifth inning, when the Falcons were the beneficiary of an Angel fielding error, which allowed Walter to score.

In the sixth, Pfeiffer struck for four more runs, with Walter punching an RBI single through the ride side of the infield to score Griffin.  A two-RBI double from Emma Bullin would draw Pfeiffer to 10-9, followed by a sacrifice fly from Kyndell Warren tied the game at 10-10.

After holding Meredith scoreless in the third, Griffin launched her third home run of the season to center field with one out to give the Falcons the 11-10 walk-off win.
