Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse Falls to Berry College
Misenheimer, N.C. (Feb. 18, 2023) – Visiting Berry College held the Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse team scoreless in the second half en route to a 19-4 win over the Falcons at a chilly Lefko Field on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Berry College scored the first three goals of the game before Pfeiffer's
Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) put the Falcons on the board with an unassisted goal at 6:54 of the first quarter.
Berry then scored the next three goals to lead 6-1 at the end of the first.
The Falcons scored the first three goals of the second quarter to draw to 6-4. Robinson scored at 13:14 on an assist from
Julia Barbato (West Chester, Pa.). Barbato also notched an assist to senior
Alyson Hanlon (Summerfield, N.C.) at 11:05 and then scored an unassisted goal of her own at 10:37.
From that point it was all Berry, as they closed the half with four goals to provide the 10-4 halftime margin.
The Vikings then got five goals in the third quarter and another four in the fourth quarter to provide the 19-4 final.
Inside the Box Score
Berry's Dani Taraska scored five goals and had a pair of assists to lead the Vikings while Robinson had a pair of goals to lead Pfeiffer. Barbato scored once and had a pair of assists to notch a team-best three points in the defeat.

Jordan Pendergraft (Apex, N.C.) had 19 saves on the afternoon while Berry's Kristina Jones managed seven saves.
