Box Score Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Earns 9-0 Road Sweep at Meredith
Raleigh, N.C. (April 12, 2023)– The visiting Pfeiffer falcons earned a 9-0 road sweep in USA South play over Meredith College on Wednesday afternoon in Raleigh, N.C.

Pfeiffer – 12-3, 3-3 USA South
Meredith – 2-7, 2-4 USA South

THE BASICS
The Falcons had no trouble with the Angels, sweeping all three doubles points to start the match.  At No. 1, Megan Rekieta and Alison Sloop won their match 8-0.

In singles, Delaney Geygan won her No. 6 match over Javi Brito, 4-6, 6-4, 10-7.  Also winning in three sets was Elithe Hudson at No. 2.  She won her match by a 6-1, 2-6, 10-7 score.

All other singles matches ended in straight sets to give the Falcons the 9-0 sweep.

BACK ON COURT
One last nonconference match awaits Pfeiffer in their next outing, as they welcome former USA South foe Averett University to the Knapp Tennis Center on Thursday, April 13 for a 3:00 p.m. match.
