Pfeiffer Falls In USA South Title Match to N.C. Wesleyan
Rocky Mount, N.C. (April 28, 2023) – Playing in the first USA South Championship match in program history, the Pfeiffer University men's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision to top-seeded N.C. Wesleyan in Rocky Mount, N.C. on Friday morning.

THE BASICS
After sweeping through doubles, the Bishops got singles wins by number-two Tshepo Mosarwa and number-three Diego Segovia to clinch the championship. It was ultimately Mosarwa who won the title-clinching match with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. The remaining four singles matches went unfinished.
The Falcons had two players named to the USA South All-Tournament team with
Aleix Garrido and
Benedikt Pfeiffer securing the league honors.
Pfeiffer completes the 2022-23 season with a 13-8 overall record and finished with a 5-2 tally in regular season USA South matches.
