Fourth Quarter Rally Lifts Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse to 9-6 Road Win at Huntingdon
Montgomery, Ala. (April 8, 2023) – With the game tied at 6-6 entering the fourth quarter, the Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse team used a three-goal spurt to take a 9-6 USA South road win at Huntingdon on Saturday morning in Montgomery, Ala.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Each team scored a pair of goals in the first quarter, with senior
Alyson Hanlon (Summerfield, N.C.) and freshman
Skyla Jo Charette (Fort Myers, Fla.) providing the Pfeiffer goals.
Pfeiffer then scored four goals in the second quarter, one from sophomore
Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and three from junior
Julia Barbato (West Chester, Pa.) to take the 6-4 lead into halftime. Barbato's first goal of the quarter, at 7:07 was a player-up goal.
Huntingdon held Pfeiffer scoreless in the third quarter while scoring a pair of their own to tie the game at 6-6 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Falcons responded at 11:49 when Robinson scored an unassisted goal, the game-winner, putting Pfeiffer up 7-6. The Falcons added two more goals, one from Barbato at 11:14 and the final goal of the game at 4:41 from Robinson that provided the 9-6 final.

Barbato would lead the way with four goals on seven shots. She also scooped up four ground balls, had three caused turnovers and two draw controls in the win.
Robinson also tallied four points on three goals and one assist on the day. She also had three ground balls, one caused turnover and two draw controls.
Charette and Hanlon scored the other two Pfeiffer goals, with Charette providing two assists while Hanlon had one in the win.
