Page and Wright Post Top-10 Finishes at Knights Invitational

Nellysford, Va. - (Oct. 9, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's golf team got two top-10 finishes by a pair of sophomores at the Knights Invitational in Nellysford, Va.

Playing at Stoney Creek at the Wintergreen Resort, the Falcons' Kirstyn Page posted a sixth-place finish in the field of 45 golfers by firing a two day total of 161 to finish at 17-over par.

Sophomore teammate Caroline Wright also placed in the top-10, as she carded a 167 to finish tied for seventh place with a +23.

Sophomore Ella Couper just missed a top-10 outing as she finished in 12^th place with a +26 (87-83)

As a team, Pfeiffer claimed second in the eight team field, finishing just seven strokes behind host Southern Virginia.  The Falcons finished with a two-day total of 674 (+98).

The Falcons will play in their final tournament of the fall season on Oct. 20-21 at the PCT Melee at Ford's Colony Country Club in Williamsburg, Va.
