HOW IT HAPPENED
Barbato wasted little time in scoring as she logged the first Pfeiffer goal off the initial draw control at 14:48 of the first quarter.Â
Analise Robinson then made it 2-0 with a player-up goal at 8:40. Guilford then cut the lead to 2-1 with a score at 7:37, but Barbato and Skyler Davis teamed for a score at 3:40 of the first to provide the 3-1 lead.
Guilford would notch the first two goals of the second quarter to draw even at 3-3, but a Robinson goal on a Barbato assist at 7:41 regained the 4-3 lead for Pfeiffer.
Guilford would tie the game at 4-4 at 7:18 of the second quarter, a score that would last until halftime.
In the third quarter, Robinson scored at 14:50 to give Pfeiffer the 5-4 lead. Guilford would never lead again in the game, as Pfeiffer outscored the Quakers 6-3 in the third quarter and 4-3 in the fourth to take the 14-10 win.

Barbato would lead Pfeiffer offensively, as she scored seven goals and provided a pair of assists to finish with nine points. She also had a team-high seven ground balls, caused six turnovers and had six draw controls.
Junior
Analise Robinson scored four goals on 12 shots and also had four ground balls. Additionally, Robinson led the Falcons with eight draw controls.
Sophomore

Cerys Reid each scored once to cap the Pfeiffer scoring. Charette also had an assist while graduate student
Skylar Davis also had a pair of assists in the win.
Falcon senior goalkeeper
Jordan Pendergraft earned the win in goal, making six saves.

The Falcons will continue play on the Lefko Field turf on Saturday, March 2 with a 7:00 p.m. game against Montreat College.
