Box Score Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Falls at N.C. Wesleyan, 8-1

Rocky Mount, N.C. (March 15, 2024)– Visiting Pfeiffer University dropped their USA South men's tennis opener at North Carolina Wesleyan University on Friday afternoon by an 8-1 count at the Slick Family Foundation Tennis Center.

THE BASICS
N.C. Wesleyan took all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches for the 8-1 win.

Pfeiffer freshman Jayden Wellman secured the lone point for the Falcons, winning his match at No. 3 singles over NCWU's Martin Cardestig by a 6-3, 6-3 straight-set score.

BACK ON COURT
Pfeiffer will continue USA South play back in The Village at the Knapp Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon with a 1:00 p.m. match with Mary Baldwin University.
