Box Score Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Wins 9-0 at Salem College

Winston-Salem, N.C. (March 30, 2024)– Pfeiffer University took a 9-0 USA South women's tennis win over Salem College on Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Pfeiffer – 10-3, 2-3 USA South
Salem – 4-6, 1-2 USA South

THE BASICS
The Falcons swept all nine matches in straight sets with Alison Sloop and Kristen Colie winning their matches at No. 5 and No. 6 by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Caimbree Gann took home the No. 1 singles match, winning 6-3, 6-4 while teammate Megan Rekieta took a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.

Haley Ingenito dropped only one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 while Riley Isley won the No. 4 match with a 6-3, 6-4 score.

In doubles, play Caimbree Gann and Rekieta won handily in an 8-1 No. 1 match.  Sloop and Isley bested their Salem opponents 8-2 at No. 2 while Colie and Ingentio secured an 8-4 win at No. 3.

BACK ON COURT
The Falcons return to the Knapp Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. with a USA South match against Brevard College.
