Lynchburg, Va. - (April 14, 2024) - The Pfeiffer University women's track and field team had a pair of records fall while participating in the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic hosted by the University of Lynchburg.
Jaela Thomas (Gr.) broke her own school record in the 100m with a time of 12.43, placing fourth overall. She followed that to run a strong 200m, placing third overall with a time of 25.41.

Maddie Hladik (Fr.) broke her own school record in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 12:16.04, finishing in third place overall. Hladik won the 5000m race with a time of 18:41.01, which was a personal best and ranks second-best all time in Pfeiffer records.
The Falcons will take aim at the USA South Outdoor Championships on April 26-27 at Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord, N.C.
