SVU Takes Down Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse, 20-9
Misenheimer, N.C. (April 17, 2024) – Visiting Southern Virginia University took a 20-9 USA South win over the Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse team on a warm Wednesday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field in Misenheimer.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Southern Virginia took a 7-3 lead after the first quarter and led 10-7 at halftime. Pfeiffer would trim the SVU deficit to 10-8 in the third quarter following a goal from senior
Julia Barbato with 12;03 remaining, but that is the closest that the Falcons would get, as SVU answered with two straight scores to extend their lead to 12-8.
Following a
Chloe Johnson goal that brought the score to 12-9, SVU would score eight unanswered goals and would hold Pfeiffer scoreless in the fourth quarter to provide the 20-9 final.

Analise Robinson and senior
Julia Barbato would each score four goals and provided an assist, with both finishing with five points. Both would also collect three ground balls in the loss. Robinson would also cause four turnovers and had three draw controls while Barbato had three caused turnovers and one draw control.
